can’t afford not to focus on content architecture whether it’s a full site rebuild whether it’s a small little enhancements a small change a quest a small addition another integration whatever it may be you always want to step back and look at content architecture it’s also something that people take for granted that you know if you build your site in 2010 and in 2013 you haven’t you’ve made a whole bunch of little changes and all these different things happen you’ve added more content you know just going back and looking at the content architecture of your solution it’s possible your staff of change different skill sets it’s possible there’s new technologies out there is possible you have you know three times as much content it’s possible you may have to go back and look at your content architecture and readjust and optimize things even without building something new you’re just optimizing the work clothes and really looking at that flow I know that on our side we have people come in on the support side say I’m trying to do this and this is a little weird and it’s like oh yeah well this could probably be optimized now because you’re doing X Y and Zed which you never did before so you do have to go back and relook at your content architecture and readjust just like you would you know adjust for SEO or adjust for performance or other things over time and then you know think about how you might want your solution to evolve you know always keep it in mind you know nothing is static these days things are always evolving that includes your content architecture includes your enhancements includes everything and you always have to be thinking about you know not a static one-time build and you’re done there people have a hard time doing this because there’s just so many other things to move on to right so you don’t want to be constantly thinking about it but if you get in the habit of thinking about is this easy to use and if it’s not can we improve it and constantly thinking about that you can really be on top of the collective architecture over time and this last one actually I don’t know if any of you guys were on our last webinar we talked about headless and traditional CMS platforms and then the hybrid approach on hybrid platforms are really good and flexible with content structures they can do lots of different things because they have the ability to do very structure content like a headless CMS within traditional CMS’s they do really well with non structured content as well so they’re very flexible
