so it’s going to be a pretty simple video and I’m just going to run through these five and kind of a little explanation on how to use each one of them so let’s jump right in so the first plug-in I got for you guys is called whoo thumbs awesome product imagery so the link will be in the description for all these plugins and you can pick them up there using my affiliate link or without my affiliate link so I’m using all these plugins on my site currently on my gentlemen jogger site and a few other sites and they they’re really helpful they increase my sales or increase my productivity sell this first one would thumbs awesome product imagery is exactly what it says it is a gallery for your images on your site so your product images are going to look a lot nicer with this enabled so instead of the standard you know lightbox that’s really laggy this one is very quick and when you click on it it doesn’t give you the full screen like the other one I don’t really like the pop up full screen that will commerce has the lightbox but does have the option if they click on a little one on the bottom right where they can see the full screen also switching between images is really smooth it’s got a nice little animation here and you can go through all the pictures like that it sets the images just like this and it’s super easy to use you just install it and you’re good to go it has a couple customization options inside of the product pages themselves where you can set up whether or not you want to use this because you might not want it on all your products who knows but this is definitely a big one for me it’s I already have a license for another guy how much it cost I think it’s about twenty maybe eighteen or twenty dollars but definitely worth it I enjoy this one and it looks much better than the standard product images so after with um we have WooCommerce recover abandoned cart so what this plug-in does is basically say your customer makes it to the checkout and they enter all their details and then they don’t end up giving you the credit card info or they don’t go to PayPal and checkout or they go to PayPal but they don’t finish checking out it still has their email in there so what it’s going to do is after a set amount of time it has a lot of settings in the admin panel but when you set this up after a certain amount of time it’s going to go ahead and send them an email asking them to come back at the site just letting them know hey you left the site you left some stuff a new card come back you can even offer them a plug-in and it’s automated so you set it up and set the percentage of plug a percentage of discount you want to offer them when they come back so I’ve made one like this have customized it a little bit so I mean look for it here okay so here is my recover Cart email so okay so it has your logo at the top I changed mine to say Illinois you left because I think that’s a little better than the standard whatever it was it says thanks for ruining website we noticed you do not complete your order bla bla bla tells them what the order shows them a picture which is really powerful because then they’re like oh I kind of did want that that’s why I added to my cart and then down below it has a finish my order button that they can click on to take them right back to the cart right back to their cart on the page to finish checking out and also I’ve added this little thing where it generates a coupon it’s only valid for one use I chose a 10% off coupon so they can get this on the checkout which might you know entice them to finish the checkout maybe they thought the products are too expensive and this coupon is bringing a lot of people back and this works great for me it has a great percentage of success I even added this image down at the bottom thank you for helping us grow our brand I think that’s pretty powerful and a little signature at the bottom so it gives you the option to customize your email a little bit but it is a little tricky to figure that out but it’s all in the admin panel here I can just take a look you have to go to WooCommerce recover abandoned cart so here it’ll show you all the ones that you’ve actually all of the emails that sent out and the ones that it’s successfully brought people back to purchase so like I said there’s a ton of settings here and a bunch of tabs to go through but Duncan overwhelmed it doesn’t it just takes one time of setting up and then you’re good to go it handles it all automatically emails them automatically and it works great for me so the next plugin we have is called image fi so what this is is a media image compressing tool it does it all automatically they have a free version and I think yeah they do but you can always impress so many images I think 200 images or 200 megabytes of images or something like that so you install this to your site and basically all the images that you upload from then on will automatically be compressed and save you bandwidth and save the customer some loading time so it won’t take the pages long to load and the image still look good so when you go in the admin panel for this plug-in let me pull that up right here to get to the settings for this plug-in you need to go to the media and then click on bulk optimization and it’ll tell you all the images that’s compressed so it’s 96% of the images on my site are now compressed you can select your level of compression I don’t recommend ultra because it does lead to some pixelation on the images either normal or aggressive if you notice some pixelation on the images with aggressive things switch back to normal but if not just keep it aggressive and then when you first install this to your site you’re going to get aggressive and then image FIM all and it’s going to go through all the media you uploaded and optimize it for you so if you do have so many images that you can’t compress them all with the free package you can upgrade for I think it’s five dollars a month which is really reasonable and you just have this button it’ll take maybe an hour to depending on how many images you have on the site could take longer and it’s really really helpful it saves you a lot of page size which is important to do all right after that plug-in we have one that is free here called stripe for WooCommerce if you don’t know what stripe is you better learn because it is an important plugin that you need for mu commerce if you want to increase your conversion rate basically with stripe is is an alternative check up to PayPal like I know most people use PayPal checkout I think that’s the standard but stripe is goes above and beyond what PayPal can do because you can add a credit card check out right on the checkout page itself now the reason why this is good is because it keeps the customers engaged right on your site without having to leave once they leave your site it’s a customer that might not come back and they have to go in and log into PayPal and enter more details to finish the checkout but with striped checkout all they have to do is enter their card details press a button and they’re done so it works like this let me get rid of my info here so we have my stuff down here once once you’ve entered all their info is head over to credit card payment I have it as the first one selected after they entered their card number expiration and CV CVC they can also save the card details which is pretty cool as soon as they have place order boom it’s going to build their card and that’s that so they don’t have to leave the page to go to PayPal they check out easier it gives them less time to think about whether they really want to buy whatever you’re offering and it gets them through that funnel as fast as possible so I would recommend using stripe your have to sign up for stripe it’s free they charge the same fees as PayPal does it’s two point nine percent per transaction plus 30 cents which is kind of high but that’s just what everyone does and then the transfer options for them is a little bit different than PayPal you don’t have to go in there and transfer it’s automatic transfers to your bank but there’s a seven day delay period which is kind of long but after that seven days is up they just come in day after day the transfers to your bank which is really nice so I recommend stripe 100% I would say two-thirds of my customers at least check out with credit card rather than going with your PayPal the people that really like PayPal trust it because they you can get refunds really easily on PayPal credit card payments your customers are less likely to charge back because it’s more difficult to because they have to go through their bank or the cardholder and PayPal they really favor buyers in most situations so if someone’s charging you back it’s actually pretty difficult to win the case because they’re favoring buyers over sellers it’s different with the credit card payment because you’re not fighting with stripe you’re fighting with the actual bank so you can submit information like their address that they had on the order and you’re more likely to win the dispute that way okay after stripe for WooCommerce the next plug-in and the last one but not least is WordPress rocket this is a premium caching plug-in and it’s for speeding up your site specifically WooCommerce sites some other caching plugins can actually mess up on caching someone’s cart and then someone else uses the cart and it’s cached and it brings it up for some reason just little glitches like that but we’re press rocket doesn’t have that problem because it’s made for WooCommerce it’s a little expensive but I would highly recommend it and it’s the fastest page speed boost I’ve ever seen yeah for its thirty nine dollars for one site or ninety-nine for three sites you get a year of support 30-day money-back guarantee so if it doesn’t actually speed up your site which I don’t believe it wouldn’t if you set it up correctly it’s really simple set up I know the the other caching plugins like WordPress something-something I’ve tried them before and they work okay but they have their limitations they’re really difficult to set up properly but WordPress rocket is super simple it’s just a couple clicks to get things set up the way you want and then the rest is history so this has got my page being down from like five seconds to one point five to two seconds which is really really great one thing that I forgot to mention about the last flooding strike for commerce is that you’re going to need to have an SSL certificate on your site so you can’t actually use this plug-in if you don’t have that which will cost you extra depending on your host you’ll have to go through them to buy one this is just to make sure that the car details want to transfer between the client and the server they can’t be intercepted and an SSL certificate just encrypts this information so that it’s all secure and you definitely need this if that’s not something you’re interested in setting up your site because it can be a little difficult to thinning on who’s hosting the website then see if you can find someone who will set it up for you because I’m sure there’s a lot of people out there or you maybe even your host will if you contact them about it so these are the five commerce plugins that are must-haves and I would recommend them all I use them all in all my sites so if you enjoyed this video give it a thumbs up thanks for watching and I’ll see you in the next one
